Explore meals built around vegetables, beans, lentils, tofu, grains, nuts and seeds. Familiar favourites such as pasta, wraps and stews are a useful place to start. Find many recipes on VeggyMalta.com, follow Għand il-Vegan for cooking inspiration, and explore the many plant-based recipes available online.

Then complete the meat-free challenge from 1–7 November and show us you’re taking part: email your food photos to info@maltameatfreeweek.com, or post them in our Facebook group, Plant Based Malta. Winners will be chosen at random from participants who completed the challenge and provided photo evidence.
